USA TODAYPublished 2:44 PM EDT Jun 28, 2020Nearly 60,000 pounds of chicken breast nuggets are being recalled because they “may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically flexible rubber material,” the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Sunday.Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation, of Waco, Texas, is recalling 4-pound bags of “Pilgrim’s Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Nuggets” that were produced May 6 and distributed to stores in four states, according to a news release.The frozen ready-to-eat nuggets have a “Best-By date” of May 6, 2021 and lot code of 0127 and establishment number “P-20728” printed on the retail package.
