The dollar depreciates against other major world currencies

The dollar is declining against other major world currencies on Monday morning, with many market players celebrating Christmas, according to trading data.

The euro against the dollar rises to $1.0628 from the last close of $1.0614, the dollar against the yen falls to 132.56 yen from 132.79 yen, the pound sterling against the dollar increased to $1.2070 from the previous level closing at $1.2058.

Monday’s trading volume is reduced as stock markets in the US, Europe and parts of Asia are closed for the Christmas holidays.
