Twitter sued over non-payment of San Francisco office rent
Under new owner Elon Musk, Twitter stopped paying rent for its San Francisco headquarters in December after the landlord sued.

The lawsuit was filed in California state court.
“After he took over Twitter, the billionaire began to cut costs. He laid off half of the staff, cut rent at other company offices around the world, and refused to pay some bills, such as a charter plane. These measures were taken at a time when Musk has to make the first payment on the $12.5 billion debt he took on to acquire Twitter.
