It’s the season for holiday hiring.

As retailers prepare for the busy holiday shopping season, they are announcing seasonal job opportunities.

On Tuesday, Target announced it would be hiring more than 130,000 seasonal workers and will host hiring events at every store. The events are Oct. 11-13 and Nov. 2-3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. There also are openings at distribution centers.

“It’s critical we build the right team across our stores and supply chain to deliver an exceptional holiday experience for our guests during the busiest time of the year,” said Melissa Kremer, Target chief human resources officer, in a statement.

Retailers aren’t the only businesses looking for seasonal help.
