Armani and Zegna Shine with Distinctive Collections at Milan Men’s Fashion Week
Milan Men’s Fashion Week wrapped up with impressive showcases from fashion maestros Giorgio Armani and Zegna, each presenting their distinct visions for the fall-winter 2024-25 season. Armani’s collection stood out with its blend of sophisticated tailoring and relaxed style. The designer’s signature approach was evident in the use of geometric patterns and sumptuous textures, with a focus on soft neutrals. Ski and snowboard influences were apparent in his designs, featuring iridescent snow pants and plush parkas. A highlight of Armani’s collection was a striking dark leather midi coat with a bold leopard print lining, embodying luxury and style.
Zegna’s show, led by Alessandro Sartori, centered on the adaptability and elegance of cashmere. The collection brought forward a relaxed yet fashionable look, combining natural monochromes with rich, autumnal hues. Key elements included boxy knitwear with three-quarter sleeves, neatly seamed knit trousers, and collarless jackets with textured blocks, embodying a contemporary feel. Sartori’s designs were inspired by Zegna’s commitment to sustainable fashion, drawing from their work at the Oasi wool mills in Italy.
Both Armani and Zegna’s presentations at Milan Men’s Fashion Week showcased their unique stylistic directions, with Armani emphasizing elegant comfort and Zegna focusing on chic, eco-conscious fashion. These collections not only displayed the designers’ expertise but also offered a preview of the upcoming trends in men’s fashion for the cooler months.
